Donald C. Allred

Chairman of the Board/Chief Executive Officer

Donald “Donnie” C. Allred, son of Vivian and Grady T. Allred, Sr., became Chairman of the Board/Chief Executive Officer of K&W Cafeterias, Inc. in July 2005. Working with his father and other family members, Allred “officially” joined the family business in 1967, at the age of nineteen. He served as the company’s vice president for twenty-four years.

Dax Allred

President

The grandson of Vivian and Grady T. Allred, Sr., Dax graduated from Davidson College in 2001. He began working in the family business in August of 2006. After two years of K&W’s management training program, Dax assumed the position of President for K&W Cafeterias, Inc. in June 2008. He and his wife and their two children live in Winston-Salem.

Todd Smith

Executive Vice-President

Todd graduated from Appalachian State University in 1986 and joined K&W three years later. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in June of 2008. Todd is married to Natalie Allred, granddaughter of Vivian and Grady T. Allred, Sr. He and Natalie and their three daughters reside in Winston-Salem, NC.

R. Leo Sasaki

Vice-President of Finance and Administration

Leo Sasaki joined K&W in April 1976, as the controller of the company’s corporate office. Ten years later, Sasaki was promoted to Vice President of Finance and became an officer. Sasaki graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 1969. Originally from California, Sasaki and his wife reside in Winston-Salem, NC.

Jeffrey S. Loken

Regional Vice-President

Jeff Loken was appointed Regional Vice President in March 2005. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Management and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Jeff began his career with K&W in 1991, as a Manager Trainee. He became a cafeteria General Manager four years later. In January 2000, Jeff was promoted to District Manager. Originally from Wisconsin, Jeff moved to North Carolina after serving in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg.

Robert D. Cox

Regional Vice-President

Rob Cox began working for K&W in 1987 as a waiter while attending high school in Roanoke, Virginia. By the age of 22, Rob had completed the management training program and within three years was a general manager. In 2003, he was promoted to District Manager. Rob was named Regional Vice President in March 2005.
